Healthy Nutrition

At Cubs Corner, we have a four-week rotational menu which is prepared by our qualified Chef. The menu includes:

  • Morning Tea
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon Tea
  • Late Snack (5pm)

As parents, educators and carers, we believe it’s our responsibility to guide children towards sound food habits. At Cubs Corner, we teach the children about healthy eating and help them develop positive eating habits.

Our menu is developed with feedback from the children and families. We encourage families to share their favourite recipes from home, and do everything we can to incorporate these into our menus. Our menus are developed in accordance with guidelines from Nutrition Australia. A nutritionist also evaluates the menus to ensure they meet these requirements.

All recipes are available for families to try at home, please ask our friendly Chef for a copy to take home.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

The Australian Government provides families with financial assistance to help cover the costs of approved child care – the Child Care Subsidy.

Since 2 July 2018, Australia has a new child care package. Under the new package, the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) replaces the existing Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate. CCS is the main way the Government assists families with their child care fees.
